Well ... if everybody survived Valentine's Day, I am guessing that we're all present and/or accounted for on this most holy of winter days.

Pitchers and Catchers Report for Spring Training!!!



There were actually some SUPER DIEHARD Nats fans at Space Coast Stadium this afternoon!!!

This is very very good news.

Now the next thing on the agenda is the countdown to the first spring training games!  I believe we're looking at 15 days right now.

I've been sending emails to TOE and SMB for the past several weeks with text very similar to the following:

    8 days 2 hours 15 minutes 3 seconds

There is no need to explain what it means.

We are on the cusp of a brand-spankin-new baseball season!

So much potential for everybody!

All I know is that I have my 20-game plan to see the Washington Nationals at RFK this year -- that's all that really matters.

I do have tix for the first two-gamer the RedSox will play in Baltimore .. but that's actually secondary at this point.  As much as I've worshiped the Sox since the old Senators skipped town.  They have to take a back-seat.

Time to "root root root" for the HOME TEAM!

This really doesn't suck!
